Pink Floyd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 9 minutes of play, LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Jhalmar Quijada made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Lastur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto Cutberto's late challenge caught a LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Cutberto helped the player get up and apologised. If Mauricio Sigaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovidio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Sigaran in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Jhalmar Quijada notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pink Floyd's Ovidio Lastur. Ovidio Lastur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute Antonio Santamaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Fero. In the 31stth minute of the game Antonio Santamaria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pink Floyd's Ovidio Lastur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Alvaro Innocenzio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ovidio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Santamaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dagoberto Ancheta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Fero charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Fero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Pink Floyd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Fero to maneuver through the defense.

The crowd rose to their feet as LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Antonio Santamaria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Lastur. That made the score 0-5 after 55 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Fero in the 60th minute of play forced LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's goalkeeper Rafael Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes LenSalvador CF-A.C.S got a freekick which was hit by Libardo Alferez. In the 66th minute, LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Antonio Santamaria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 70th minute, Damaso Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Anaya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. A collision led to LenSalvador CF-A.C.S getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Douglas Brizuela hit a great ball. When Damaso Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Pink Floyd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Rivas couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Cutberto came free, but Rafael Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Lamberto in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Ovidio Lastur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Pink Floyd defense, Mauricio Sigaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Lastur. The Pink Floyd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Lastur should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Gilberto Montes got a free kick in the 95th minute. Roger Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
