Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Didier Bonenfant got the match started through his kick off. Art Rhoades in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marc Brand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 7 played minutes Persepolis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arden Poulin. Rolf Buckner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Marc Brand made a huge save. Ray Zurbuchen charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ray Zurbuchen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Mjöllnir got a freekick which was hit by Ray Zurbuchen. Art Rhoades struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Marc Brand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persepolis F.C.. Marc Brand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Buckner in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Persepolis F.C.'s Art Rhoades ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marc Brand. Marc Brand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Mjöllnir's goalkeeper Marc Brand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Art Rhoades. In the 24th minute, Quentin Schmidlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mjöllnir's Ray Zurbuchen got a free kick in the 28th minute. Mjöllnir's Marc Brand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Mjöllnir from getting a goal against them. Quentin Schmidlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Rhoades read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Brand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Art Rhoades was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 47 minutes into the match, Rolf Buckner notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Mjöllnir's Marc Brand. Marc Brand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Art Rhoades stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Arden Poulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Marc Brand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Didier Bonenfant charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Didier Bonenfant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Didier Bonenfant hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Rolf Buckner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mjöllnir's Marc Brand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Geraldo Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mjöllnir defense, Arden Poulin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marc Brand. The Mjöllnir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marc Brand should have stopped the shot. Everett Swartz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Marc Brand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persepolis F.C.. After 73 minutes of play, Persepolis F.C.'s Art Rhoades made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Brand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melvin Slater hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Arden Poulin took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Brand. Marc Brand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Marc Brand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art Rhoades in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Art Rhoades made a precise shot to the right of Marc Brand. Mjöllnir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 88 minutes into the match, Arden Poulin notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Mjöllnir's Marc Brand. Marc Brand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marc Brand came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Persepolis F.C.'s Geraldo Wall. But to his dismay, Geraldo Wall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. After 95 minutes of play, Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Brand was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Persepolis F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
