Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abelardo Medeiros took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, FC U Cluj-N's Victor Caramarin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Alin Doroftei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Will Muralhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Ţăranu in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Ţăranu in the 20th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Ţăranu in the 24th minute of play. Alin Doroftei kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Natanael Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Iordache Calota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SE Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. If Victor Chindriș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Vieira during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Alfredo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes SE Palmeiras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alin Doroftei who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC U Cluj-N's Alin Doroftei to fire away a dangerous shot which Will Muralhas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Ţăranu was the one to do the kick off. Abelardo Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Iordache Calota made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Romeo Ţăranu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas. Will Muralhas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 59 minutes of play, SE Palmeiras's Abelardo Medeiros made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Calota was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Michel Marques fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Palmeiras's protests and gave Michel Marques a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Michel Marques hit a great ball. Victor Caramarin took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Will Muralhas. Will Muralhas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Fabian Alupoaie's late challenge caught a SE Palmeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Alupoaie helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes FC U Cluj-N got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Alupoaie. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Ţăranu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sydney Moreno hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Romeo Ţăranu sped through SE Palmeiras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Will Muralhas. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Edson Chaves got a free kick in the 84th minute. Edson Chaves hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Romeo Ţăranu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Muralhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Natanael Paraense hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Alin Doroftei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Will Muralhas skillfully saved the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC U Cluj-N players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
