After a rather tough play, Bruly's Jeroen Van de Gaer got a free kick in the 11th minute. Garry Vercauteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Boni in the 12th minute of play. Loco Cabezon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anier Beliran in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bruly's zone, Ladislao Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garry Vercauteren came out of the goal and Ladislao Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruly's Ole Orihuela got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Beturian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck in the 22nd minute of the match. If Bruno Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ole Orihuela to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ruben De Moor came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben De Moor couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Ruben De Moor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Beturian. Loco Cabezon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben De Moor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 60th minute Modesto Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Vercauteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Boni in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garry Vercauteren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Beturian had great luck who in the 67thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ole Orihuela from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 68th minute Modesto Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Vercauteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Cabezon were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Bruly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anier Beliran took the corner. After taking down the ball on Loco Cabezon's corner Anier Beliran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Garry Vercauteren quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute Loco Cabezon were awarded a corner. Anier Beliran went to the cornerflag to take it. Anier Beliran made a great header on Loco Cabezon's corner, it was just that Bruly's Garry Vercauteren managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 77th minute, Cristo Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bruno Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Kenney Theys got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Kenney Theys notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Loco Cabezon's Gabriel Beturian. Gabriel Beturian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th match minute, Loco Cabezon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. The Loco Cabezon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bruly's performance. The match ended with a win for Bruly.
