In the 7th minute, Aron Marghescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Eniceicu in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roni Van Hoyveldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When MXM Squad NS ★DAC★'s Aron Eniceicu, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for MXM Squad NS ★DAC★. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Eniceicu in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roni Van Hoyveldt saved YR Mechelen from getting behind. When Paul-Louis Van Mechelen fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR Mechelen's protests and gave Paul-Louis Van Mechelen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Paul-Louis Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Aron Eniceicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roni Van Hoyveldt was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Cătălin Robu took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roni Van Hoyveldt. The supporters of MXM Squad NS ★DAC★ booed when YR Mechelen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuur Candries didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul-Louis Van Mechelen made a kick off. Aron Eniceicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Roni Van Hoyveldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneel Van Mechelen hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Maurice Van Mechelen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Marghescu got free with Roni Van Hoyveldt in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Eniceicu in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roni Van Hoyveldt saved YR Mechelen from getting behind. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Diederik Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Aron Eniceicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YR Mechelen's Roni Van Hoyveldt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cătălin Robu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roni Van Hoyveldt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul-Louis Van Mechelen in the 76th minute of play forced MXM Squad NS ★DAC★'s goalkeeper Eliodor Pisculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. YR Mechelen's Roni Van Hoyveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Robu in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Eniceicu got free with Roni Van Hoyveldt in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicodim Nistorescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Roni Van Hoyveldt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. YR Mechelen's Roni Van Hoyveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Eniceicu in the 84th minute of play. Aron Eniceicu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Roni Van Hoyveldt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Răzvan Giuverdea's late challenge caught a YR Mechelen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Răzvan Giuverdea helped the player get up and apologised. 97 minutes into the game, Cătălin Robu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roni Van Hoyveldt. Cătălin Robu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded MXM Squad NS ★DAC★ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than YR Mechelen.
