In the 20th minute, one of Belgrano de Pibasog:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belgrano de Pibasog. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Llanos in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Kane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Alfredo Llanos in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANTOS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Sánchez. Alfredo Olave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes SANTOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Arantes. SANTOS F.C's Harry Kane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Llanos in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando de Andrade was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Nilton Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Olave saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Llanos got free with Harry Kane in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilton Sá hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SANTOS F.C's Harry Kane got control of the ball when Alfredo Llanos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
