Gustavo Ceceil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Dolfo in the 27th minute of play. Paulo Bartolome hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A hard shot 30 in the game by Favila Doles from a close distance when the talented Hernan Ellande managed to make a qualified save. Academia Club's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Paulo Bartolome got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of RamPa Football Club booed when Academia Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Puyol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Teo Urtubia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernan Ellande. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. Leandro Ranolfo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Gustavo Ceceil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Club. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Favila Doles to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Academia Club's Dionisio Dolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 66 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Puyol. 70 minutes into the match, RamPa Football Club's goalkeeper Gustavo Ceceil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Dolfo. Dionisio Dolfo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Ceceil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Dolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to RamPa Football Club getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Albino Mazuelas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Dolfo in the 79th minute of play forced RamPa Football Club's goalkeeper Gustavo Ceceil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Academia Club were awarded a corner. Leandro Ranolfo went to the cornerflag to take it. Leandro Ranolfo made a great header on Academia Club's corner, it was just that RamPa Football Club's Gustavo Ceceil managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo Bartolome charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Bartolome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angel Urtsin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gustavo Ceceil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Academia Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RamPa Football Club throughout the match.
