In the 2nd minute, Rupertas Laurinavičius made a precise shot to the right of Zé Augusto Varela. Arsenal MGK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zé Augusto Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albinas Luzeckas's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Zé Augusto Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adomas Vilčinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Arsenal MGK's goal looked a bit too open when Adomas Vilčinskas came free, but Zé Augusto Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Arsenal MGK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Zé Augusto Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adomas Vilčinskas in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Arsenal MGK defense, Adomas Vilčinskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Augusto Varela. The Arsenal MGK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Augusto Varela should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute of the match Savage Hippo got a corner. Arsenal MGK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albertas Dabašinskas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Savage Hippo's Nerijus Urniežius pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bebeto de Sena hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adomas Vilčinskas in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Augusto Varela saved Arsenal MGK from getting behind. 0-4 became the score in the 36th minute when Adomas Vilčinskas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adomas Vilčinskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zé Augusto Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Savage Hippo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adomas Vilčinskas made the kick off in the second half. Albinas Luzeckas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Zé Augusto Varela made a huge save. Rupertas Laurinavičius's late challenge caught a Arsenal MGK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rupertas Laurinavičius helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arsenal MGK booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupertas Laurinavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savage Hippo's Albinas Luzeckas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Adomas Vilčinskas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Augusto Varela. The goal made the score 0-6. 65 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's Rupertas Laurinavičius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Augusto Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adomas Vilčinskas in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Augusto Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sérgio Linares scored 1-6 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vytaras Liaudanskas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rupertas Laurinavičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zé Augusto Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albinas Luzeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adomas Vilčinskas in the 77th minute of play forced Arsenal MGK's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Arsenal MGK's Léo de Almeida got a free kick in the 78th minute. Adomas Vilčinskas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Savage Hippo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rupertas Laurinavičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play, Savage Hippo's Adomas Vilčinskas made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Augusto Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albinas Luzeckas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Arsenal MGK's Zé Augusto Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adomas Vilčinskas in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Rupertas Laurinavičius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Zé Augusto Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adomas Vilčinskas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Augusto Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the game, Léo de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal MGK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Savage Hippo the free kick. Léo de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
