Vasqueiro FC's Luís Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurre Salado in the 27th minute of play. Aurre Salado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Luís Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vasqueiro FC's Ciro Meirelles got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Garcia Ventura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes, Roberto-Carlos Da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glorioso Deportivo Cali and the Vasqueiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurre Salado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Garcia Ventura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Paulista. Luís Paulista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Aurre Salado took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Luís Paulista to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Vasqueiro FC's zone, Gervasio Basallan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulista came out of the goal and Gervasio Basallan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Basallan's late challenge caught a Vasqueiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Basallan helped the player get up and apologised. Aurre Salado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulista having to interfere. Gervasio Basallan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Garcia Ventura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Paulista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Garcia Ventura in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Paulista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Dorival Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasqueiro FC's protests and gave Dorival Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Vasqueiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Siqueira. Garcia Ventura struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Luís Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glorioso Deportivo Cali. Garcia Ventura's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Luís Paulista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
