Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiaguinho Cestarolli started the match with the kick off. Bebeto Cestarolli hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Generoso Sasoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiaguinho Cestarolli in the 6th minute. Prospero Montrell charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Montrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Gloria Verdinegra AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Montrell to maneuver through the defense. When Tiaguinho Cestarolli came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Cestarolli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho Cestarolli couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Cestarolli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. Cestarolli FC's Dito Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Berasko in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Cestarolli FC's Tiaguinho Cestarolli made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Sasoin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prospero Montrell was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 26th match minute, Gloria Verdinegra AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Montrell to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cestarolli FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Guilherme Brito hit a great ball. Horacio Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Generoso Sasoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bebeto Cestarolli in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Gloria Verdinegra AFC were awarded a corner. Augusto Lizar went to the cornerflag to take it. Augusto Lizar made a great header on Gloria Verdinegra AFC's corner, it was just that Cestarolli FC's Dito Figueiredo managed to reach the ball for a save. 39 minutes into the match, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Cestarolli came free, but Generoso Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Cestarolli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Generoso Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Iztal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Horacio Iztal made the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Generoso Sasoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Cestarolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ricardo Cestarolli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Generoso Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eulalio Berasko fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gloria Verdinegra AFC's protests and gave Eulalio Berasko a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Gloria Verdinegra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Berasko. In the 57th minute, Tiaguinho Cestarolli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Sasoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Cestarolli in the 60th minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Cestarolli took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Sasoin. Generoso Sasoin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 63rd minute, Gonçalo Cestarolli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Cestarolli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cestarolli FC's Ricardo Cestarolli got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Iztal got free with Dito Figueiredo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Gloria Verdinegra AFC defense, Ricardo Cestarolli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Sasoin. The Gloria Verdinegra AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Sasoin should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gloria Verdinegra AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Ricardo Cestarolli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Ricardo Cestarolli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cestarolli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Cestarolli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Tiaguinho Cestarolli put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Generoso Sasoin. Dito Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Lizar in the 91st minute. When Guilherme Brito fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cestarolli FC's protests and gave Guilherme Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Guilherme Brito hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes of play, Cestarolli FC's Tiaguinho Cestarolli made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Sasoin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cestarolli FC had won after a very even match.
