Spectators: 7446 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelio Ecija started the match with the kick off. Piorno Acedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthías Sammer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Hieronim Babicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój from getting a goal against them. Cornelio Ecija's late challenge caught a BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Ecija helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, ReyPoxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Ecija to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Karl-Heinz Riedl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Piorno Acedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's goal looked a bit too open when Ebi Smolarek came free, but Piorno Acedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piorno Acedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ebi Smolarek in the 20th minute of the match. Darien Bernal kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Karl-Heinz Riedl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piorno Acedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piorno Acedo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Ebi Smolarek. But to his dismay, Ebi Smolarek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 39th minute, Ebi Smolarek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piorno Acedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Piorno Acedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebi Smolarek in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Cornelio Ecija got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hieronim Babicki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ebi Smolarek scored 0-6 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piorno Acedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ebi Smolarek to strike the kick off in the second half. Piorno Acedo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Ebi Smolarek. But to his dismay, Ebi Smolarek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 56 played minutes ReyPoxo got a freekick which was hit by Rufio Caballero. In the 57th minute, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Ebi Smolarek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 64th minute Ebi Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piorno Acedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Karl-Heinz Riedl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piorno Acedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ebi Smolarek scored 0-9 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piorno Acedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Piorno Acedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ebi Smolarek went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. ReyPoxo's Rufio Caballero got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Ebi Smolarek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Piorno Acedo. Ebi Smolarek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Piorno Acedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthías Sammer went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. Piorno Acedo was a little too slow when Matthías Sammer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-14. In the 93rd minute, Matthías Sammer made a precise shot to the right of Piorno Acedo. ReyPoxo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. 97 minutes into the game, Ebi Smolarek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Piorno Acedo. Ebi Smolarek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
