Eric Elg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Martxot to maneuver through the defense. Eric Elg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Claus went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the game, Piratas FC's Ernesto Itzaina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Elg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When David Aimar fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas FC's protests and gave David Aimar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Momlinho booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Lagerbergs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Paulino Lizer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Saturnino Roldan scored 1-4 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Elg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FC Momlinho defense, Alejo Claus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Elg. The FC Momlinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Elg should have stopped the shot. After 35 played minutes Vilhelm Hammarström rounded Piratas FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. After 38 minutes of play, Piratas FC's Teodoro Casomiro made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Elg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute Saturnino Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Alejo Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piratas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Teodoro Casomiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Elg. FC Momlinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Casomiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Roldan made a kick off. In the 54th minute Vilhelm Hammarström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejo Claus scored 2-8 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Elg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eric Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Roldan in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Eric Elg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Itzaina. After some careless play in the FC Momlinho defense, Alejo Claus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Elg. The FC Momlinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Elg should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Ernesto Itzaina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-10. Eric Elg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Saturnino Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Claus in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Alejo Claus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eric Elg. Alejo Claus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-11. In the 77th minute, Saturnino Roldan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Elg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-12. In the last second Eric Elg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Teodoro Casomiro in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Piratas FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Piratas FC's Teodoro Casomiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eric Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Casomiro in the 86th minute of the match. Johannes Rosin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Eric Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Momlinho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piratas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
