Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nelsinho Ferreira kicked off to start the match. FALCÕES VERDES's Murillo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfred Zaha in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nafiz Yaltıray to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ali Atıf Mengüalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mickey Batshuayi hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Wilfred Zaha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOCAELİSPOR's Ali Atıf Mengüalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Sampaio in the 35th minute of play. Emrullah Sezer charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emrullah Sezer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Emrullah Sezer. Richard Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Christiano Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nusret Dündaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 52nd minute, Nusret Dündaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FALCÕES VERDES's zone, Wilfred Zaha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Macedo came out of the goal and Wilfred Zaha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Richard Vieira. KOCAELİSPOR's Edin Džeko was substituted for Wilfred Zaha. In the 62nd match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Vieira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 66th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Murillo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edin Džeko spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FALCÕES VERDES's goal. Rubens de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Atıf Mengüalp having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Marco Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FALCÕES VERDES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Emrullah Sezer. Marco Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. KOCAELİSPOR's Anıl Arda Buğra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Richard Vieira, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Marco Mota's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ali Atıf Mengüalp firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 94 minutes, Rubens de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FALCÕES VERDES and the KOCAELİSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The KOCAELİSPOR players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
