After 3 played minutes Filippo Cruciani rounded Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Chester Bennington was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Ciro Di Renzo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Di Renzo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Chester Bennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Cammarota in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montechiarugolo AFC's zone, Paulo Renato Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Pascali came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 16 minutes on the clock, Júlio Macedo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Milan da Freguesia F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Chester Bennington had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Edmondo Palomba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 19 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Ramalho. Edmondo Palomba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chester Bennington. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The goalkeeper, Chester Bennington, was totally fooled by Montechiarugolo AFC's Edmondo Palomba, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Belardi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chester Bennington saved Milan da Freguesia F.C. from getting behind. After 45 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto de Lara. After having played for 48 minutes, Edmondo Palomba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montechiarugolo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmondo Palomba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmine Belardi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when Milan da Freguesia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Belardi came free, but Chester Bennington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Pascali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Mineiro in the 60th minute of play. Chester Bennington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Belardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Ramalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Pascali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jailson Ramalho ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Belardi in the 67th minute of play forced Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper Chester Bennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Carmine Belardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Chester Bennington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes, Carmine Belardi made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Chester Bennington tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's Daniele Cammarota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chester Bennington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Montechiarugolo AFC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmondo Palomba took the corner. Chester Bennington came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Montechiarugolo AFC's Carmine Belardi. But to his dismay, Carmine Belardi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 86th minute Daniele Cammarota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chester Bennington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Montechiarugolo AFC's Carmine Belardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chester Bennington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 93rd minute, Paulo Renato Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Chester Bennington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Cammarota in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Belardi came free, but Chester Bennington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Montechiarugolo AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
