Dan Gheară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Covataru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HORIZZONT were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Cosmos Soccer Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Remzi Bozlak took the corner. The corner led HORIZZONT's Remzi Bozlak to fire away a dangerous shot which Dan Gheară despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Leopoldo Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iago Aspas. Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergincan Türköz in the 9th minute of play. Iago Aspas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Varela made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iago Aspas in the 15th minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Leopoldo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naim Gencal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when 姜永洲 came free, but Leopoldo Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isac Covataru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Naim Gencal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Covataru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dan Gheară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Ţopescu's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Iago Aspas came free, but Leopoldo Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姜永洲 in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. 姜永洲 hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ergincan Türköz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Gheară was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Cosmos Soccer Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HORIZZONT:s goal. The referee gave HORIZZONT a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Remzi Bozlak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară. 0-1. The Cosmos Soccer Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HORIZZONT were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ergincan Türköz made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ivan Ţopescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the HORIZZONT defense, 姜永洲 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Varela. The HORIZZONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Varela should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Dan Gheară successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Harvey Flynn kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姜永洲 in the 64th minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Leopoldo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Naim Gencal came free, but Dan Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergincan Türköz in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of HORIZZONT booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Flynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute 姜永洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Veysel Üner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Iago Aspas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ergincan Türköz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Gheară read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Leopoldo Varela came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's 姜永洲. But to his dismay, 姜永洲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Cosmos Soccer Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
