Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Medardo in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Vrieze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Medardo in the 8th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ermegildo Jerrald sped through Lemel SV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raymond Bos. When Jelte Erenstein fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemel SV's protests and gave Jelte Erenstein a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Jelte Erenstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Iruinea in the 15th minute of play. Raymond Bos came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by RED DEVIL's Ermegildo Jerrald. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Jerrald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Santos Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Rivelino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Rivelino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Santos Montes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With 25 minutes on the clock, Giovanni van Bronckhorst commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Giovanni van Bronckhorst hit a great ball. Ermegildo Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Pieter Trip got a free kick in the 28th minute. Lemel SV:s Raymond Bos showed great skill when he stopped Ermegildo Jerrald:s penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Chap in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raymond Bos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Lemel SV defense, Ermegildo Jerrald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Bos. The Lemel SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Bos should have stopped the shot. Ruben Criston charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Criston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Jerrald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Chap in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Jerrald in the 57th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Enaut during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
