The supporters of Mountainhammer United booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Manciulea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pär Blom came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mountainhammer United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Blom couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Petran in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven-Oskar Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Oliver Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Petran, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Peter Linquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mountainhammer United's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Linquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolae Borcea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Nicolae Borcea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Asklöv. Christoffer Häll kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Paul Petran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolae Borcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Linquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The corner led Mountainhammer United's Christoffer Häll to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolae Borcea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oliver Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Petran in the 30th minute of the match. Nicolae Borcea made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Peter Linquist sent off a good shot on target. Nicolae Borcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Linquist in the 37th minute of play. Oliver Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Petran in the 41st minute of the match. Nicolae Borcea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Linquist went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Niculae Perșa charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niculae Perșa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Niculae Perșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linquist came free, but Nicolae Borcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mountainhammer United's Kent Rang in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RED BLUE STAR's goalie prevented a goal. After 57 minutes, Joachim Frisck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mountainhammer United and the RED BLUE STAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peter Linquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Borcea having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Mountainhammer United's Pär Blom made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolae Borcea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolae Borcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Rang in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Mountainhammer United were the better team. Mountainhammer United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
