Bajen's Larry Jackson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Everardo Javiero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Salvator, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Salvator came free, but Luis Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Woodrow Baggett got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Woodrow Baggett in the 17th minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Everardo Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Woodrow Baggett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Rivero couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Weldon Morin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Troy Cabourne charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Troy Cabourne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nahitantino booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Cabourne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Teodosio Goito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silverio Jorrin scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Swain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Nahitantino booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Baez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The S.D. Bajen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nahitantino were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosario Church to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Nahitantino got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lizar. A hard shot 55 in the game by Camilo Hernando from a close distance when the talented Luis Swain managed to make a qualified save. S.D. Bajen's players were relieved. 58 minutes into the match, Nahitantino's goal looked a bit too open when Woodrow Baggett came free, but Everardo Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Troy Cabourne hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Hernando got free with Luis Swain in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Camilo Hernando put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Swain. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milo Stallings during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Milo Stallings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.D. Bajen's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Hernando in the 75th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Generoso Rivero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Swain. Generoso Rivero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Nahitantino's Fermin Iyan was substituted for Camilo Hernando. Nahitantino made a substitution. Luis Silviano replaced Silverio Jorrin. S.D. Bajen's Luis Swain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. Luis Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Troy Cabourne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Woodrow Baggett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Javiero having to interfere. The S.D. Bajen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nahitantino were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
