An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Matteucci in the 4th minute of play forced Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florent Sorlin in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ercole Carnevale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ercole Carnevale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Toupin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Toupin came free, but Ercole Carnevale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Concetto Matteucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Lossimäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmut Lossimäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Nero in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Fc Kertzfeld got a freekick which was hit by Alix Poulain. In the 29th minute, Fc Kertzfeld's Herman Johnsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Herman Johnsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fc Kertzfeld protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Herman Johnsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Herman Johnsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Fc Kertzfeld got a freekick which was hit by Herman Johnsson. Santoryu FC's Concetto Matteucci got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Fc Kertzfeld players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santoryu FC were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Toupin in the 50th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Fc Kertzfeld got a freekick which was hit by Edgar de Toledo. Santoryu FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Fc Kertzfeld's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Concetto Matteucci took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Concetto Matteucci got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Helmut Lossimäe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 61 minutes into the game, Teodoro Chale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Helmut Lossimäe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Anthony Jougla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Kertzfeld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Alix Poulain came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Fc Kertzfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alix Poulain couldn't finish the play. Santoryu FC's Yıldırım Buminhan was substituted for Dennis Nero. Ercole Carnevale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joël Rétière, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 91st minute, Gaston Toupin made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Carnevale. Santoryu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Fc Kertzfeld's Teo Esiquio was substituted for Anthony Jougla. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
