The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Galo na Veia FC™'s Hulk Bolt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Cedro. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Perrucho FC's Gustavo Cedro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Perrucho FC from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Cedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Maciej Żurawski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gustavo Cedro made a huge save. In the 25thth minute of the game Wilfried Spaniol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perrucho FC's Gustavo Cedro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hektor Tsiaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hektor Tsiaris in the 26th minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Horácio Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilfried Spaniol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hektor Tsiaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Galo na Veia FC™ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Celsinho Capixaba hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Hektor Tsiaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Perrucho FC's Gustavo Cedro got control of the ball when Hulk Bolt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Araújo. In the 44th minute of the match Lino Peio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horácio Donato showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilfried Spaniol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Cedro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfried Spaniol to make the kick off. A collision led to Galo na Veia FC™ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vehdi Taşkınay hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Araújo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Spaniol in the 68th minute of play forced Perrucho FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Cedro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horácio Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hektor Tsiaris in the 72nd minute of play. Celsinho Capixaba made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hulk Bolt however managed to control. Perrucho FC's Gustavo Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Żurawski in the 81st minute of play. Wilfried Spaniol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Capixaba made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hulk Bolt immediately put the ball in play. After 90 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Araújo. During the 92nd minute of the match Hektor Tsiaris completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hektor Tsiaris a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Perrucho FC were furious when Bernard Hryc was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When Amauri Terra came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Galo na Veia FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Terra couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galo na Veia FC™ had played much better football throughout.
