Enoch Light could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Enzo Shantala made a huge save. With a little luck, Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala got control of the ball when Sandy Spaulding tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Rambert came free, but Enzo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Alberto Islas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lun Luna, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Sebastián Rambert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Shantala. Sebastián Rambert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Rambert in the 24th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala got control of the ball when Sandy Spaulding tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Howling Dawn U18 defense, Sandy Spaulding kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Shantala. The Howling Dawn U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Shantala should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Astor Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. When Howling Dawn U18's Astor Barbosa in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. The corner led Howling Dawn U18's Hernan Azibar to fire away a dangerous shot which Luis Alberto Islas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Baldomiro Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Luis Alberto Islas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Howling Dawn U18. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Baldomiro Jerrald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Alberto Islas came out of the goal and Baldomiro Jerrald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of C. A. Independiente booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Enoch Light shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
