Spectators: 7714 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casado Mondrevilla started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Carpasús FC - FDC's Iván Cordoba got a free kick in the 5th minute. Carpasús FC - FDC's Kevin Mier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Rambert in the 6th minute of play. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Rambert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastián Rambert in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Mier saved Carpasús FC - FDC from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Criales came free, but Luis Alberto Islas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Alberto Islas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Criales in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Sebastián Rambert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kevin Mier. Sebastián Rambert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kevin Mier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Rambert in the 26th minute of the match. Luis Alberto Islas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lastur Mestanza in the 29th minute of play. C. A. Independiente's Luis Alberto Islas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casado Mondrevilla in the 31st minute of play. Kevin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Rambert, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Justin Trujillo hit a great ball. Lastur Mestanza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandy Spaulding was the one to do the kick off. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandy Spaulding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastián Rambert in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Mier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Huarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandy Spaulding came free, but Kevin Mier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sandy Spaulding hit a great ball. Sandy Spaulding kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Antonio Voss got a free kick in the 68th minute. C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sol Prat 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After 80 played minutes Carpasús FC - FDC got a freekick which was hit by Sol Prat. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Casado Mondrevilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Alberto Islas came out of the goal and Casado Mondrevilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Flint Prince hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sandy Spaulding hit a great ball. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Rambert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of C. A. Independiente booed when Carpasús FC - FDC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Huarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Melvin Ruffin got a free kick in the 94th minute.
