Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Otto Dubler got the match started through his kick off. Tarada were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after GREEN LIONS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrej Schifferli took the corner. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ron Migneault took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vaggelis Pantelidis to make any attempt to save it. Ron Migneault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The GREEN LIONS fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when GREEN LIONS's Ignatios Papachronakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignatios Papachronakis in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilius Ringeli saved Tarada from getting behind. Tarada's Basilius Ringeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Papachronakis in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Filippos Kopelis came free, but Basilius Ringeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Leonard Muller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vaggelis Pantelidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Dubler in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignatios Papachronakis was the one to do the kick off. Ignatios Papachronakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilius Ringeli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Filippos Koutsokefalakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basilius Ringeli came out and tried to block the shot, but Filippos Koutsokefalakis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 55th minute. Ignatios Papachronakis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 58th playminute. Basilius Ringeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Koutsokefalakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilius Ringeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignatios Papachronakis in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Ignatios Papachronakis could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Basilius Ringeli however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Migneault didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Dubler in the 72nd minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Vaggelis Pantelidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Ignatios Papachronakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GREEN LIONS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarada the free kick. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Ignatios Papachronakis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Filippos Koutsokefalakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. GREEN LIONS's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippos Koutsokefalakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilius Ringeli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignatios Papachronakis in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilius Ringeli saved Tarada from getting behind. After 79 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Raiola. Aggelos Karageorgopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aggelos Karageorgopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tarada booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Karageorgopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Otto Dubler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Pantelidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ignatios Papachronakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GREEN LIONS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
