The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiaguinho Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Família Ressaca MZ's Tiaguinho Cavalcante got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Everardo Quinten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcinho Cardozo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcinho Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Jönsson's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Marcinho Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Quinten. In the 11th minute, Everardo Quinten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Billesholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Everardo Quintens short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Marcinho Cardozo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcinho Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Quinten's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes Família Ressaca MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Quinten who took care of the corner kick. Billesholm's Everardo Quinten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcinho Cardozo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rickard Spets hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rickard Spets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Billesholm's Marcinho Cardozo threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rickard Spets, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Algot Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Michel Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Família Ressaca MZ's protests and gave Michel Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Billesholm booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Quinten in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Quinten in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Cardozo saved Família Ressaca MZ from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Everardo Quinten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcinho Cardozo. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Marcinho Cardozo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rickard Spets showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Quinten in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Cardozo saved Família Ressaca MZ from getting behind. After having played for 42 minutes, Everardo Quinten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billesholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Quinten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Billesholm booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Família Ressaca MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Everardo Quinten was slow to take the kick. During this time Billesholm's players had a chance to rest. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Everardo Quinten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Cardozo having to make a save. Marcinho Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Quinten's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Família Ressaca MZ's Marcinho Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Quinten in the 61st minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Everardo Quinten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Família Ressaca MZ's Marcinho Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Quinten came free, but Marcinho Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Billesholm's Everardo Quinten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Billesholm's Rutger Löfdahl was substituted for Stefan Håkansson. After 75 minutes of play, Billesholm's Rickard Spets made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Everardo Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everardo Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Everardo Quinten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcinho Cardozo was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Marcinho Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Quinten in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Everardo Quinten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Marcinho Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Billesholm had played much better football throughout.
