Cosme Mede was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vinicio Dayam lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. José Pedro Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cosme Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Família Ressaca MZ's Tadeu Campidelis got a free kick in the 27th minute. Marcinho Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Chale in the 28th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, José Pedro Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Pedro Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Mede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Família Ressaca MZ booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Pedro Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Mede having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Pedro Botelho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes DON RAMON 72 got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Lluis. 75 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Botelho came free, but Cosme Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes DON RAMON 72 got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Gervaso. Anísio Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Mede. DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. José Pedro Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Mede having to interfere. The Família Ressaca MZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
