The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Carlsson got free with Bineesh Liang in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes of play, Oakham's Adam Hsi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthias Brandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bineesh Liang made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hampus Beneth sent off a good shot on target. Oakham's Bineesh Liang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Oakham from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Dale Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Brandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bineesh Liang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Carlsson in the 33rd minute of play. Matthias Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faizal Keng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Erik Carlsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bineesh Liang came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Erik Carlsson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 39th minute. Jan-Erik Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Sarb Dhanabalan scored 3-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthias Brandin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Roland Järverup hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sarb Dhanabalan to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ture Nordmark during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. One of Svartvallstjärnens IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oakham:s goal. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Matthias Brandin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Svartvallstjärnens IF from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the game, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Jan-Erik Carlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bineesh Liang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Matthias Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Dale Seng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Matthias Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svartvallstjärnens IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
