Spectators: 7776 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) After a defensive mix-up in Meerkats FC's zone, Conrado Mirande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Hansson came out of the goal and Conrado Mirande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Veto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Ladio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Fredric Hansson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Meerkats FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Hermosillo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilbert Incorvaia took the corner. In the 21st match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Boni to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Feliciano Boni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermosillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Meerkats FC's Fredric Hansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Meerkats FC from getting a goal against them. Fredric Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amuchechukwu McPherson in the 28th minute of the match. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Degabriele in the 29th minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hermosillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilbert Incorvaia was slow to take the kick. During this time Meerkats FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Bernard Degabriele got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 35 minutes into the match. Fredric Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amuchechukwu McPherson in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Amuchechukwu McPherson hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Mirande came free, but Fredric Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Robert Portanier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Bernabe Ladio in the 47th minute really tested Fredric Hansson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Boni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fredric Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Boni in the 51st minute of play. Vincent Callus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Evarado having to interfere. Amuchechukwu McPherson scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredric Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Callus in the 70th minute of play. Santos Veto kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fredric Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Ladio in the 79th minute of play. Amuchechukwu McPherson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Hansson having to interfere. Hermosillo FC made a substitution. Amadeo Primeiro replaced Santos Veto. Hermosillo FC's Donato Adrio was substituted for Conrado Mirande. In the 95th minute Bernabe Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Hermosillo FC were the better team. Hermosillo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
