Daniel Gozdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Bochynski having to interfere. Roch Hoffman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Daniel Gozdowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Konrad Bochynski made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 58th minute, Daniel Gozdowski made a precise shot to the right of Konrad Bochynski. Mario gool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Konrad Bochynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davor Šuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Michal Grunwalski in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mario gool's Przemyslaw Iwanowski. The audience was convinced that Daniel Gozdowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrad Bochynski was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
