In the 13thth minute of the game Romulo Sergi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Valar's Iosif Vladimirescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Romulo Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Raebert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 17th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scaloneta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudiu Iorgovan was slow to take the kick. During this time The Valar's players had a chance to rest. The Valar's Claudiu Iorgovan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eustacio Raebert in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Scaloneta FC's Eustacio Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Davidescu in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Roberto Charles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Andrei Davidescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Vladimirescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scaloneta FC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Scaloneta FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
