Ovidio Mogel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Chazen in the 21st minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Mogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Moneteria got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Chojnacki. The audience was convinced that Piotr Hatman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Mogel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Abancens to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Roberto Tartalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Candela FC and the Moneteria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Robanke came free, but Ovidio Mogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Mogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomil Robanke in the 65th minute of the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute Moneteria were awarded a corner. Przemyslaw Lipinski went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 94th minute Przemyslaw Lipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Mogel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Przemyslaw Lipinski's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Moneteria's Przemyslaw Lipinski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidio Mogel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Candela FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Moneteria.
