Samuel Demicoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Mare, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Concetto Mare might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Demicoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Concetto Mare ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolás Tagliani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Demicoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Mare, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Friggieri.

Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Trigona in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes Zorros del Desierto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Keith DeGaetano who took care of the corner kick. Sean Friggieri's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sean Friggieri helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Friggieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Friggieri. Samuel Demicoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Mare in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Benedict Cumberbatch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Araya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sean Friggieri was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 68 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Friggieri. After a defensive mix-up in Templars FC's zone, Concetto Mare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Demicoli came out of the goal and Concetto Mare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Zorros del Desierto fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Zorros del Desierto's Concetto Mare looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Templars FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Noé Saso scored to the left of an out of position Samuel Demicoli, making the score, 0-3. In the 77th minute Kurt Abdilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Araya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Templars FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Noé Saso scored to the left of an out of position Samuel Demicoli, making the score, 0-4. Zorros del Desierto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
