Blas Oinatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Taranto having to interfere. Amerigo Taranto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Oinatz in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Bartolomucci in the 33rd minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Romeo Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ACF Fiorentina's Romeo Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Baciadonne in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Blas Oinatz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amerigo Taranto was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Figueroa couldn't finish the play. Amerigo Taranto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryuji Laprise went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Amerigo Taranto made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Dario Figueroa sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Ryuji Laprise notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Mims's Amerigo Taranto. Amerigo Taranto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ACF Fiorentina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
