The Szczakowianka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jailson de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Zaworski in the 11th minute of the match. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Leite in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Silva during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Szczakowianka booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Boguslaw Porajewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jailson de Mendonça. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 18th play minute Stasio Makomaski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jailson de Mendonça. 3-0. In the 21st minute Boguslaw Porajewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szczakowianka's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Neto in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Elivélton da Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thibaut Courtois was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Boguslaw Porajewski charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boguslaw Porajewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Szczakowianka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boguslaw Porajewski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Capibaribe Stars's Célio Leite got a free kick in the 35th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Jailson de Mendonça successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th match minute, Szczakowianka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Zaworski to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Capibaribe Stars defense, Cyprian Zaworski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jailson de Mendonça. The Capibaribe Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jailson de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Leite came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milosz Koprowski made a kick off. Capibaribe Stars's Jailson de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Zaworski in the 56th minute of play. Jairo Neto hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jailson de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Porajewski in the 64th minute of play. Szczakowianka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when André Silva scored to the left of an out of position Thibaut Courtois, making the score, 5-2. In the 72nd minute, Milosz Koprowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Silva in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Capibaribe Stars's Gino Varela got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute of the match Wojciech Niziolek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jailson de Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jailson de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Zaworski in the 75th minute of play. Milosz Koprowski scored 6-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jailson de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute André Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jailson de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Porajewski in the 90th minute of the match. Jailson de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Zaworski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Szczakowianka were the better team. Szczakowianka's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
