In the 13th minute Aurelio Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Benat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 16th minute. Patricio Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Huly in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes ACF Fiorentina got a freekick which was hit by Omar Natanael. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ritchie Obis got free with Romeo Benat in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Black Rose 1979's Romeo Benat threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enzo-Nicolás Pérez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patricio Fillol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Figueroa went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Patricio Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Estavan in the 29th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Romeo Benat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute Ritchie Obis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ritchie Obis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Benat was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Romeo Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hernan Florin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ACF Fiorentina's zone, Norberto Orlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Benat came out of the goal and Norberto Orlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Figueroa to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Norberto Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ACF Fiorentina's Romeo Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Orlin in the 58th minute of play. Patricio Fillol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Figueroa in the 59th minute. Matias Ceandro's late challenge caught a Black Rose 1979's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Ceandro helped the player get up and apologised. Matias Ceandro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Aurelio Salamon fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACF Fiorentina's protests and gave Aurelio Salamon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Aurelio Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Black Rose 1979's Ritchie Obis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Estavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Patricio Fillol made a huge save. The corner led Black Rose 1979's Hernan Florin to fire away a dangerous shot which Romeo Benat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez to maneuver through the defense. If Blas Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Dario Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ritchie Obis in the 92nd minute of the match. Dario Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Patricio Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Benat came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Enzo-Nicolás Pérez. But to his dismay, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Black Rose 1979 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ACF Fiorentina for a fine match.
