Brian Lambert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daan Ooms in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Lisburn Distillery F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Elói Alagoano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Rompen in the 16th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Brian Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantijn Bauwens hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Brian Lambert got control of the ball when Daan Ooms tried to sneak it across the goal line. Crispin Lomas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Guust Bauwens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daan Ooms made a kick off. Clive Workman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guust Bauwens came out and tried to block the shot, but Clive Workman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Elói Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guust Bauwens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute Lisburn Distillery F.C. were awarded a corner. Dominik Giertych went to the cornerflag to take it. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Dominik Giertych was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guust Bauwens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guust Bauwens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clive Workman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Stan Winnepennincks got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brian Lambert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daan Ooms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Elói Alagoano. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lisburn Distillery F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
