Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Paige in the 90th minute of play. If Thomas Vollmari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute Thomas Vollmari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleopas Plouffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
