The audience thought a goal was coming when Zadornin Fonoll got free with Hipolito Tono in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Warlocks -CR-'s goal looked a bit too open when Julián Álvarez came free, but Sergio Armoña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julián Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Vargas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Ermegildo Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Armoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, LegionArgentina's Hugo Joanes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hugo Joanes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LegionArgentina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hugo Joanes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Hugo Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Camilo Senabres kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Rafael Paradelo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zadornin Fonoll was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, LegionArgentina's Sergio Armoña threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florentino Vargas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in LegionArgentina's zone, Christian Neriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Tono came out of the goal and Christian Neriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Vargas got free with Sergio Armoña in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Arnas in the 72nd minute of play forced Warlocks -CR-'s goalkeeper Sergio Armoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Senabres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Arona kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Warlocks -CR- booed when LegionArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Vargas's late challenge caught a Warlocks -CR-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Florentino Vargas hit a great ball. Christian Neriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Tono having to interfere. LegionArgentina succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Warlocks -CR- had controlled the match.
