But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Kusko couldn't finish the play. Muzaffer Beşir kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yavuzalp Öktuna during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Yıldırım Tahsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Yıldırım Tahsin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The .!1863 Boğaziçi SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Yıldırım Tahsin notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres. Arnulfo Piarres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ender Serafet charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ender Serafet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Castelar F.C. booed when .!1863 Boğaziçi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ender Serafet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ender Serafet got free with Arnulfo Piarres in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 68th minute of the match Yavuzalp Öktuna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Yavuzalp Öktuna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Yavuzalp Öktuna hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. İsa Ulaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Leguizamón in the 70th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, .!1863 Boğaziçi SK's Ender Serafet made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Piarres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yıldırım Tahsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Tahsin in the 84th minute of the match. .!1863 Boğaziçi SK's İsa Ulaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Kusko in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Castelar F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Yıldırım Tahsin came free, but Arnulfo Piarres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yıldırım Tahsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
