When Rubens Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubens Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Germano das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Monte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Galo Orange helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galo Orange to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Oséias Orange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Orange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melquiades Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Oséias Orange hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Germano das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Luken, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Rosendo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
