Cláudio Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Timothy Walton made a huge save. In the 13th minute Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. were awarded a corner. Magno Nunes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Magno Nunes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Timothy Walton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Meninges FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fraser Oatway hit a great ball. Timothy Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Cláudio Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paredes Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Sissons in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Magno Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timothy Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Sissons in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paredes Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34thth minute of the game Kurt Sissons who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Paredes Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paredes Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Sissons, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Toninho Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s protests and gave Toninho Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Meninges FC's Zackary Boulding got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Sissons was the one to do the kick off. Meninges FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfie Read in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Alfie Read got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paredes Goiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kurt Sissons in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paredes Goiano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Lúcio da Cunha got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 71st minute Kurt Sissons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paredes Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Rayner, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Magno Nunes took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timothy Walton. Timothy Walton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Sissons in the 85th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Paredes Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo do Vale hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
