Liverpool FC's Lasse Saarelainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Jucha in the 3rd minute of play. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Jucha in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Aulis Raninen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulryk Jucha hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Cezary Sitko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viljami Virtala in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 18th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Lasse Saarelainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aulis Raninen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool FC's protests and gave Aulis Raninen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aulis Raninen to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes of play, MKS Mazur Ełk's Armando Dorigatti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lasse Saarelainen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulryk Jucha took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lasse Saarelainen. Lasse Saarelainen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Jucha in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Armando Dorigatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 34th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Lasse Saarelainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hemmo Hana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Sitko having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Liverpool FC's Viljami Virtala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cezary Sitko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ulryk Jucha made the kick off in the second half. Armando Dorigatti took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lasse Saarelainen. Lasse Saarelainen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Armando Dorigatti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lasse Saarelainen was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Cezary Sitko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leevi Ahonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aku Rissanen kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. MKS Mazur Ełk made a substitution. Witomir Lepucki replaced Borys Ogrodowicz. After 61 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Aku Rissanen. Lasse Saarelainen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from David Bitănescu. 73 minutes into the game, Armando Dorigatti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Mazur Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when MKS Mazur Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Dorigatti didn't get a good kick on the ball. MKS Mazur Ełk's Kajetan Konieczny was substituted for Ignacy Fronczak. Cezary Sitko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aku Rissanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Dorigatti in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Aulis Raninen. Lasse Saarelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Dorigatti in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Cytrynski in the 85th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Lasse Saarelainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juhapekka Eloranta to maneuver through the defense. Lasse Saarelainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Cytrynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Dorigatti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when MKS Mazur Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Wojtyna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lasse Saarelainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Dorigatti in the 96th minute of the match. The MKS Mazur Ełk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
