The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugur Aanicăi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mugur Aanicăi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Senna in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as A4p FC Gad's Toader Bogrea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paredes Goiano. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. With a little luck, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Paredes Goiano got control of the ball when Tudor Cioculescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Toader Bogrea came free, but Paredes Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Toader Bogrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Paredes Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Miguel Cavalcante got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 35 minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Ciocan who took care of the corner kick. A4p FC Gad's Martin Ciocan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paredes Goiano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mugur Aanicăi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Ribeiro in the 38th minute of the match. Mugur Aanicăi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magno Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Paredes Goiano made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Toader Bogrea sent off a good shot on target. Mugur Aanicăi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cláudio Senna was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Toader Bogrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Goiano was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Paredes Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Maniu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Cioculescu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Goiano saved Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. from getting behind. When A4p FC Gad's Tudor Cioculescu, in the 66th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for A4p FC Gad. In the 67th match minute, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Martin Ciocan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paredes Goiano. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mugur Aanicăi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ismael Paraense's late challenge caught a A4p FC Gad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Paraense. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
