Spectators: 7051 (Terracing: 5280, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victoriano Estevez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Victoriano Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5thth minute of the game Victoriano Estevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Victoriano Estevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Estevez in the 14th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Paulus Van Poucke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Aquiles Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Primitivo Txanton was slow to take the kick. During this time Maravilla's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Primitivo Txanton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tony Guimarães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard and well directed shot from Primitivo Txanton led 40 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Silvano Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Kiliz having to interfere. If Fernando Carrasqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvano Rudolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Carrasqueira in the 52nd minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Nicolas Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulus Van Poucke during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Paulus Van Poucke hit a great ball. Nicolas Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Rudolfo in the 62nd minute of play. During the 63rd minute of the match Paulus Van Poucke completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paulus Van Poucke a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute Silvano Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Cedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Rudolfo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Kiliz saved Maravilla from getting behind. In the 94th minute Silvano Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, C. A. Atlanta failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
