The Carqueja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selatse Guijano should have stopped the shot. Selatse Guijano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selatse Guijano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Langoni in the 14th minute of play. Luka Langoni took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selatse Guijano. Selatse Guijano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Abuba Akotonon FC's Felix Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mogel Izcaray in the 21st minute of play. If Dario Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Langoni in the 25th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Selatse Guijano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carqueja's Fiz Loño got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Luka Langoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Selatse Guijano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Abuba Akotonon FC's Felix Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtats Figueruel in the 32nd minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Carqueja's Urtats Figueruel made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Frans was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Langoni in the 35th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Selatse Guijano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mogel Izcaray in the 38th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Felix Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carqueja were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Abuba Akotonon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eudoxio Pumar took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eudoxio Pumar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felix Frans quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Sabino came free, but Selatse Guijano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emilio Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Felix Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eudoxio Pumar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mogel Izcaray in the 61st minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Felix Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mogel Izcaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 66 minutes on the clock, Ernesto Oxarra commited a dangerous tackle. Diego Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selatse Guijano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Selatse Guijano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Fabian Otoniel came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Abuba Akotonon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Otoniel couldn't finish the play. Abuba Akotonon FC made a substitution. Alfredo Graciani replaced Emilio Jakue. The Abuba Akotonon FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
