When Ovidiu Negara fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teachers FC's protests and gave Ovidiu Negara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Trapiche booed when Teachers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Negara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Trapiche fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Trapiche's Juan Ramalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüsnü Taş got free with Santiago Meckel in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Norino in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leal Pádua saved Teachers FC from getting behind. Sílvio Vilhena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Meckel having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Teachers FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Paixão. After 31 minutes, Tadeo Abajas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trapiche and the Teachers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tadeo Abajas hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 55 minutes of play, Trapiche's Juan Ramalho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leal Pádua was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Meckel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsnü Taş, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Teachers FC were awarded a corner. Bento Raminhos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bento Raminhos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santiago Meckel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 69th match minute, Trapiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Abajas to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Hüsnü Taş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Meckel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Trapiche's Guaberto Betadur was substituted for Augusto Hanot. Pedro Pasculli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsnü Taş came free, but Santiago Meckel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Teachers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Trapiche were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
