After 10 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Maria Chute. 11 minutes into the game, Tamboril's Vânderson Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armandinho Araújo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tamboril's Vânderson Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ediberto Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erivaldo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bommareddy D'AoustDaoust in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Servaes in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Furlan saved Tamboril from getting behind. Vinícius Servaes struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Erivaldo Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamante Negro DK - VV. 25 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Fonseca came free, but Erivaldo Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Maria Chute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes, Tamboril's Glauco Leão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armandinho Araújo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tamboril reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Leme got free with Armandinho Araújo in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederico Leme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Armandinho Araújo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 36 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Freitas. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tamboril's goalkeeper Erivaldo Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erivaldo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tamboril's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oséias Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Diamante Negro DK - VV's players had a chance to rest. Bommareddy D'AoustDaoust's late challenge caught a Tamboril's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bommareddy D'AoustDaoust helped the player get up and apologised. Bommareddy D'AoustDaoust hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bommareddy D'AoustDaoust was the one to do the kick off. Armandinho Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Leme in the 57th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Oséias Fonseca made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erivaldo Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oséias Fonseca hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Frederico Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamboril's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, Tamboril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Peres to maneuver through the defense. The Diamante Negro DK - VV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Diamante Negro DK - VV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
