Dedy Giatrakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. M. Dedy Giatrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mati Fernández in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, MICE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fotis Patinios to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, MICE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Chano Garrido came free, but M. Dedy Giatrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gábor Puskás in the 21st minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Pinone Claro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Carlitos Caszely who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MICE F.C.'s M. Dedy Giatrakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MICE F.C.'s zone, Ivo Basay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. M. Dedy Giatrakis came out of the goal and Ivo Basay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. M. Dedy Giatrakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mati Fernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Manos Kapriniotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MICE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colo-Colo the free kick. Chano Garrido struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. M. Dedy Giatrakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo-Colo. If Carlitos Caszely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Parisis came free, but Pinone Claro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Mati Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but M. Dedy Giatrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
