Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Honesto in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Daniele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabiano Daniele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Placido Fonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esparta FC and the Atletico San Jacopino players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Esparta FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Placido Fonso hit a great ball. The Atletico San Jacopino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nunez Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Er Didia in the 33rd minute of the match. The Esparta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atletico San Jacopino were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Er Didia to strike the kick off in the second half. Esparta FC's Nunez Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Esparta FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Fedele Marzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico San Jacopino's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedele Marzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Iraitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nik Tjæder in the 78th minute of play forced Esparta FC's goalkeeper Nunez Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Nik Tjæder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Esparta FC's goalkeeper Nunez Iraitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fedele Marzo.
