The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when GRÊMIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateus Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 21st minute of play. Marco Carmona made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Geovanni Maia sent off a good shot on target. GRÊMIO's Lázaro Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Lencastre in the 36th minute of play. Dráuzio Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lázaro Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when GRÊMIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateus Campos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Mincho. GRÊMIO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 史挺南 to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mateus Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 64 played minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Lencastre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Pirani in the 68th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Marco Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Vegetti got free with Lázaro Mincho in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 史挺南 might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Carmona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 史挺南 ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Mateus Campos got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lázaro Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Campos in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Campos in the 79th minute of play forced GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Lázaro Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
