Krzysztof Milan was slow to take the kick. During this time Juliszew SSA's players had a chance to rest. Mariusz Pudzianowski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lázaro Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Pudzianowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Dawid Wyrostek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史挺南, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Juliszew SSA's Mariusz Pudzianowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Mincho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lázaro Mincho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Karwowski in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Juliszew SSA's goal looked a bit too open when 史挺南 came free, but Dawid Wyrostek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Mariusz Pudzianowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juliszew SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariusz Pudzianowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 史挺南 kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Juliszew SSA's Izydor Tylinski got a free kick in the 34th minute. Geovani Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Lázaro Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Barowicz in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Mariusz Pudzianowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Mincho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 44 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Maia. In the 45th minute, Mariusz Pudzianowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lázaro Mincho. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to GRÊMIO getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Anísio Esteves hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Karwowski to make the kick off. Lázaro Mincho came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Juliszew SSA's Mariusz Pudzianowski. But to his dismay, Mariusz Pudzianowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariusz Pudzianowski in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Mincho saved GRÊMIO from getting behind. A collision led to Juliszew SSA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aureliusz Gongola hit a great ball. Lázaro Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariusz Pudzianowski's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Mariusz Pudzianowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Mincho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Leonard Karwowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juliszew SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GRÊMIO the free kick. After 73 played minutes Juliszew SSA got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Karwowski. Juliszew SSA's Slawomir Fetor was substituted for Mariusz Pudzianowski. Dawid Wyrostek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 史挺南 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 76 minute of play. Slawomir Fetor scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Mincho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the GRÊMIO defense, Slawomir Fetor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Mincho. The GRÊMIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Mincho should have stopped the shot.
